Ingredients
- 3 large avocados
- 1 large lime
- 1 jalapeno
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Cut each avocado in half, scoop out pit and set pit to the side
- Cut each avocado with butter knife vertically and then horizontally creating cubes
- Scrape cubes into bowl with spoon, this should be roughly 3 cups of avocado. If using smaller avocados, adjust seasoning as detailed below.
- Core and dice jalapeno and add to bowl. You can also use pickled jalapenos if you prefer. About 2-3 tablespoons diced would equal a fresh jalapeno.
- Juice the lime and add 1 teaspoon of lime juice for every cup of avocado
- Add 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder for every cup of avocado
- Add 1/8 teaspoon salt for every cup of avocado
- Mix and mash with fork to get guacamole to desired consistency
- Taste test, and add more of other ingredients to taste, grab a chip and enjoy!
