Ingredients
- 1 pound bag of frozen butter beans
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 cup of onion
- 1 cup of vegetable or chicken broth
- 4 slices of cooked bacon, chopped
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne
- 1 12 oz bag of fresh green beans
Instructions
- Melt butter in large skillet
- Saute onion until fragrant
- Add vegetable stock, bacon and all seasoning, cover and simmer for 25-30 minutes
- Once beans are slightly tender, stir in bag of green beans
- Cover and steam green beans for 10 minutes or until tender
- Once veggies are done it’s ready to serve!
