This is my favorite marinade that mimics that steakhouse taste, quick to make but full of flavor!

Steakhouse Style Filet Kignon Steak Marinade

Ingredients

4 steaks (we used filet mignon)

Marinade:

  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • 1/3 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/3 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon honey

Instructions

  1. Mix marinade ingredients
  2. Cover steaks in marinade and refrigerate for 4-5 hours
  3. Cook steaks until internal temperature reaches 120 degrees for rare, 130 degrees for medium rare, 135 degrees for medium well, or 145 degrees for well done
    • We used our smoker, getting fire box going with hickory and oak at 350 degrees and then grilled offset 20 minutes until done.
