I love smoothies, especially when we are on a weekend schedule where we have breakfast at 10, lunch/dinner at 4, and around 7 you are hungry for something that isn’t quite a meal. Here’s one I made last night with the ingredients I had on hand. Use whatever is in your freezer and make your own!
PrintRaspberry Mango Smoothie
- Prep Time: 5 minutes
- Total Time: 5 minutes
- Yield: 8 1x
- Diet: Vegan
Scale
Ingredients
- 2 frozen bananas
- 1.5 cups frozen raspberries
- 1 cup frozen mango
- 2 cups coconut milk
- 1 cup fresh spinach
- 1 cup of water
- 1 cup of ice
- 1 tablespoon of agave
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to blender and puree
- I usually put the ice in last to help hold down the spinach
- Taste test and add more of anything if needed
- Pour into cups and enjoy!
Notes
- Substitutions:
- Any type of berry for the raspberries.
- Another banana for the mango
- Your choice of milk for the coconut milk
- Maple syrup or honey for the agave
- Frozen banana:
- My recommendation for best flavor is to freeze when the banana is starting to brown but not totally brown. If you freeze when totally brown, mark the bag, and save those to thaw and make banana bread.
