These go great with steaks! What’s the secret to great flavor? A bit of lemon juice. Mushrooms cook best when all pieces are cut to the same size. The small mushrooms I usually quarter, the larger mushrooms, I try to cut to roughly the same size as the pieces I quartered.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz of button mushrooms, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon of butter (I used plant based)
  • 1 teaspoon of lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in bottom of pan
  2. Add all other ingredients
  3. Saute mushrooms 5-7 minutes or until cooked evenly
